In May 2019 we hosted our first evening at Tyrrells Wood Golf Club in Surrey, with Chris Waddle. During his career, he was widely acknowledged as one of the finest attacking midfielders in Europe, with over 700 club appearances, and nearly 150 goals for a whole host of clubs in the UK and across Europe.
It was a brilliant night, with stories of Jack Charlton from his time with Newcastle, laugh a minute tales of Gazza from his time with Tottenham and England, as well as an insight into his singing career with Glenn Hoddle and Basile Boli.
Thanks to all those who took part in our Charity Treasure Hunt, on the night, we raised just under £500 for the Mid-Surrey Dementia Care Trust.
