Last night was full of festive spirit at Rhodrons Club, Chessington as we presented a spectacular Christmassy night with the brilliant, Harry Redknapp, sponsored by Surrey & Elmbridge Prestige Homes. With ‘Crackers’ on the mic, the night was a brilliant mix of festive cheer, hilarious stories from Harry, and a heartwarming gesture from the JE3 Foundation.
It was a pleasure to welcome football legend and beloved personality, Harry Redknapp back to Surrey for the third time in two years, and the room was packed out.
Known for his charm and quick-wit, Harry entertained the audience with anecdotes from a lifetime in football, both as player and manager, tales from the jungle and also sharing his very poor movie trivia…!
However, the evening was not only about the King of the Jungle; over the past few years Echo Sixty One has raised over £52k for the JE3 Foundation, and it was the perfect way to end the year to present our long term venue; Rhodrons Club, Chessington with a life-saving gift – a defibrillator which will not just enhance the safety and well-being the clubs members and guests, but the wider community of Chessington. It was great to have Charlie Edinburgh & Harry present the defibrillator to Millie Rafferty who the defibrillator on behalf of the Rhodrons Club. Santa hats at the ready, a festive edition of heads and tails was a great way for us all to have a laugh and raise some money for the foundation... thank you to everyone who donated!
It was the best way to end a year of events in Surrey with some of the biggest names in sport. We are already looking forward to the events in 2024, bringing more big names and big personalities to Surrey, and we are so proud to be able to continue our support to the JE3 Foundation into the new year.
