Morning... We’re asking for just a few moments out of your Tuesday morning commute to share something truly important with you...
As many of you know, Echo Sixty One Events proudly supports the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation—a charity founded in memory of former footballer and manager Justin Edinburgh, who tragically passed away at just 49 after suffering a cardiac arrest in a gym without a defibrillator available.
Each year, 30,000 people in the UK experience a cardiac arrest, and immediate access to a defibrillator can mean the difference between life and death. However, current UK law does not require health and fitness facilities to have defibrillators on-site—something the JE3 Foundation is working tirelessly to change. By pushing for legislative reform, they aim to improve survival rates, offer peace of mind, and prevent more families from experiencing the devastating loss of a loved one.
How You Can Help
❤️ Sign the petition for Justin’s Law – Over 60,000 people have already signed to help mandate Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in all health and sports facilities across the UK. Help us reach 100,000 signatures—click the link below and add your name today!
❤️ Learn CPR – The JE3 Foundation has launched an educational film encouraging everyone to get hands-on with lifesaving CPR skills. Take just a few minutes today—perhaps during your coffee break—to learn how to save a life.
❤️ Book a CPR & Defibrillator Workshop – Whether it's for your workplace, sports team, or community group, training can ensure more people are CPR and defib confident. Visit the JE3 Foundation website and enter ‘CPR’ in the message field to inquire about a session.
Every action counts. Let’s stand together, raise awareness, and support a movement that could save lives.
