What a night... We had such a great night at Rhodrons Club on Friday night as we hosted the former Tottenham, Watford and Brazil Number 1, Gomes.
It was great to have Adam Smith on the mic once again as Gomes recalled stories of his childhood in Brazil, playing for Cuzerio (the team he had supported as a boy), his move to PSV and winning Eredivisie in four consecutive seasons as well as the Dutch Cup, his time at Tottenham under Harry and hilarious stories about his former team mates, including our surprise guest for the evening; Sandro!
The second half of the evening saw questions from the floor, which gave a brilliant insight into Gomes' thoughts on current players, as well as the best players he played with and against, his best save, the goal he didn't mind not saving and his thoughts on a certain Tottenham chant!
Once again we continued our support for The Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation, thank you so much to everyone who joined in with our charity auction and game of heads and tails. Don't forget you can continue your support for their work by signing the Petition for Justins Law.
