An Evening with Alan Brazil

Echo Sixty One are overjoyed to be hosting our inaugral event at the magnificant Burhill Golf Club, with none other than the 'original voice' of TalkSport Breakfast, the one and only Alan Brazil. The evening will be hosted by Sky Sports presenter Adam 'Smithy' Smith.

Tickets for this event includes a stunning three course meal with wine and there will be a meet & greet and professional photo with Alan for every guest on the night.

We continue to support the ongoing work of The Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation and will be holding a charity auction and prize draw.

About Alan Brazil:

Born in Glasgow in 1959, Alan made his debut in English football for Ipswich town in 1977, he went on to have over 200 appearences for The Tractor Boys scoring 80 goals. During his time at the Suffolk club he won both the FA Cup and the UEFA Cup.

He moved to Tottenham in 1983, the season that Spurs lifted the UEFA Cup for a second time, although Brazil didnt play in the final he was part of the team in the earlier stages of the competition.  After one season with Spurs he moved to Manchester United but a back injury started to hamper his play, and he was mostly played as a substitute for his second season with the club. Brazil continued to play, with his injury, for another four seasons at various clubs.

Following his retirement from football, Alan went in to media work, initially on TV but most famously as the voice of breakfast radio on TalkSport, which he has hosted since 2000.
